Underfloor Insulation Retrofit

When retrofitting underfloor insulation we need to make sure any existing underfloor insulation that isn't fit for purpose like foil is removed. We remove it to ensure the new insulation sits hard against your floorboards, stopping drafts and ensure you get the best result and the highest R value.

Ground Vapor Barriers

GVB is compulsory in rentals with an enclosed subfloor but we reccomend it in all Christchurch homes. Stops rising damp, reduces the humidity in the home and dries out the floorboards.
